About
Hi, I’m Courtney and this is Three Months. My life is currently in an awkward transition – my husband has an internship on the East Coast for the summer months, and we’re moving to California in the fall. What does a 23-year-old jobless college graduate do to keep herself busy during this transitional summer? That’s the very question I had to ask myself.
I spend my days hunting for jobs in California, and let me tell you, it’s a daunting task. I’m very impatient and job hunting can be rather discouraging. To lift my spirits, I bought a 3-month membership to a gym and am planning to whip myself into shape before heading West.
I’m hoping some major changes will be happening over the next three months. Specifically, I’d LOVE to be employed and be the healthiest I’ve ever been. I’ll be tracking my exercises and reviewing fitness classes because let’s be honest, I’ll be taking A LOT of fitness classes as I have all the time in the world! I’ll also update you on my job search. I know that I’m not the only one struggling to find a job, so I’m hoping others might be able to relate to me.
And when the three months are over? Well, I’ll be starting a new 3-month challenge. There’s always something in life that can be achieved, so why not make goals and document the process?!
I hope you’ll join me on my 3-month challenges (maybe even make some for yourself!). In fact, let’s do that now…
What do you want to achieve in the next three months?!

Adorable blog! I love the concept and the name! Looking forward to hear how the job search goes!!
Where in CA are you moving??
Hi, Cara! I’m glad you like the blog. I’m moving to the bay area in September – excited to experience Northern California!
I’d love to move there! Ugh. Great site – I also love that you love wine, ice cream, and almond butter…a match made in heaven
I love the concept behind your blog. Three months is such a realistic and attainable time to get something accomplished, way better than New Year’s Resolutions. Twelve months is way too long to stay focused on something, that or I have A.D.D. Good luck with it!
the bay area! how exciting. What field are you looking for jobs in??
I have a journalism degree and experience in advertising and marketing. Right now, I’m applying for all sorts of jobs…hoping something will work out come September!
love this! Three months is the perfect amount of time to accomplish goals.
Thanks, Jenna! I’m hoping to achieve these goals!
I absolutely love the concept behind your blog! So creative and interesting!
Thanks, Katie! This blog is a great way for me to track my progress and keep me on track!
You will love the Bay Area! Born and raised here and work in Silicon Valley. Let me know if you have any questions about the job market out here!!
